Can’t get enough lime and ginger? In this icy, fizzy twist on Queen of Greens, we’ve pumped up the zesty flavor of our citrusy green tea even more. We think it’s royally refreshing.
RECIPE:
DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: Easy
PREPARATION TIME: 5 mins
STEEPING AND COOLING TIME: 30 mins
SERVINGS: 8 (1 Pitcher)
4 individual Queen of Greens tea bags
4 cups water
3 tbsps honey (optional)
2 organic limes
2 cups Ice
2 cups of chilled, natural ginger ale
Place the teabags In a heat-proof bowl or pitcher and pour over 4 cups of boiling water. Add honey to sweeten and stir. Cool tea to room temperature and remove tea bags. (Remember, they’re compostable!)
Quarter the limes. Slightly squeeze some of the juice into a serving pitcher, then throw in the limes for good measure. Add the tea and chill the serving pitcher in the refrigerator for at least one hour, or until fully chilled.
To serve, add the ice to the pitcher and top off with chilled ginger ale. Cheers to summer!
