How To Make the Perfect Iced Tea

Queen of Green Iced Tea

Summer has finally arrived, and not a moment too soon if you ask us.  We’re toasting to sundrenched days and shady afternoons spent cooling off with that distinctly American beverage, iced tea. We’ll be drinking Clipper by the pitcher all season long and hope you will too!

The Perfect Iced Tea for in the Summer

Queen of Greens

Try our beloved citrus and ginger flavored green tea chilled. It’s so delicious, you may start taking “ice queen” as a compliment.

How to make 1 Pitcher

Ingredients

8 cups filtered water, divided in half
6 individual Queen of Greens teabags

Instructions

  1. First, place tea bags in a heat safe pitcher or bowl.
  2. Now, put the kettle on. Bring four cups of filtered water to a boil and pour over tea bags. (Do remember to recycle the wrappers and tags!)
  3. Steep for 10 minutes, then remove tea bags and put them in the compost bin.
  4. Add four cups of chilled filtered water. Give it a stir.
  5. To serve, pour over ice as-is or, if you like, add a little simple syrup to taste. Or, substitute a little organic honey to really make your sweet tea the bee’s knees. Garnish with a slice of lime to really put it over the top.
